Daily Nap time is from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm during this time we do not answer the phone or the door.
Let us take care of your dogs while you travel, shop, or run errands.
Requirements
To participate in daycare, your dog must be able to be around other dogs. Your dog must not be aggressive or food/toy protective.
Before your first visit - Temperament Test
Please call us at 614-766-5440 to schedule a free interview for you and your dog. Interviews usually take 30-40 minutes. During the interview your dog will be evaluated for her suitability for daycare and to determine her energy level and temperament for playgroup assignment.
Daycare visiting hours for prospective dog daycare parents are between the hours of 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm M-F. Saturday by appointment.
Bring all your completed forms and your dog's vaccination records with you to the interview. If you dog has attended daycare/boarding at another facility please let us know. Interviews usually take 30-40 minutes.
After your dog passes the interview, you may begin scheduling daycare or other services for your dog by just giving us a call at 614-766--5440 or emailing us your request.
Note: Thursdays and Fridays fill up quickly. Please schedule these days by Monday of the same week to save your spot.

What do we need to bring to Daycare and Boarding?
Daycare
- A leather or nylon collar with tags. (No choke collars.)
- Current shot records must include:
- Rabies Vaccination,
- DHLPP,
- Bordetella (Kennel Cough)-Boostered every 6 months if administered intranasal or yearly if injectable.
- Dogs must have a negative fecal test.
- Prescription heartworm medication and have a negative heartworm test.
- Flea prevention treatment, such as Frontline or Revolution.
If your vet has a different vaccination protocol, please ask them to include a note stating their protocol with your vaccination paperwork. Vaccination records must be faxed to 614-766-5443 before your dog arrives.
Note: All dogs over the age of six (6) months must be spayed or neutered.

Boarding:

Because it is better not to change your dog's diet and environment at the same time, we will happily feed your dog's food from home at no extra cost. Please bring food in a sealed container or in pre-portioned "baggies." Please do not bring a scoop or cup. If you choose not to provide food, we serve Wellness Chicken Super5Mix® premium dog food for $2.00 a day. - Durable toys such as Nylabone, Kong, or Goodie Ship. For safety reasons, Top Dog Daycare does not permit rawhide treats of any kind.
